The first television series to be shown in colour, however not many viewers saw the colour version until the 1960’s. The western series follows Cisco and his sidekick Pancho conquer crime and villains during times when the law enforcement officers fail to show any interest. To the poor, Cisco, with his finely embroidered shirts was seen as a Mexican Robin Hood type figure and violence was often kept to a minimum, with Cisco shooting guns from his opponent’s hands and Pancho an expert with the whip.
